Forest Fires is a good choice.

Although published in 1991, this layperson's introduction to wildfire provides a superb entry point to a complex and important subject. Clearly written and detailed, this book should be read (and re-read) by all firefighters and fire safety professionals. There are more technical treatments of wildfire, but if you read just one book on this topic, Forest Fires is a good choice.
